Bill Roemer

Summit County has been blessed with a rich and diverse natural heritage. Bill Roemer believes that we are vested with a sacred duty to be proper stewards of the resources upon which the quality of American life here in Summit County depends.

Bill Roemer, a 19 year resident of Richfield is running for an At Large Seat on the Summit County Council. Bill has Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Case Western Reserve University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He also has a Master of Business Administration degree from the Weatherhead School of Management of Case Western Reserve University.

He was endorsed by Mary Taylor who in 2008 said "In today's economic environment, Summit County needs Bill Roemer's financial expertise and fiscal restraint. With his MBA in finance and background as a CPA and business executive, he has the experience to ensure sound economic decisions."

A retired Ameritech (AT&T) Director of Sales, Bill has proven leadership abilities with the astute business acumen to lead Summit County. A Certified Public Accountant (retired), Bill was an Instructor of Finance at Meyers University. He is also a substitute teacher in the Revere School District and also tutors students after school hours.

During tax season, Bill provides assistance for some seniors in the Summit County area to complete their income taxes.

His community service includes: Treasurer, Commissioner, and Umpire Director of Revere Baseball/Softball League,  President of Camp Bradlo Club a Slovak fraternal organization and Past President of Richfield Baseball League. He also coached the Revere White team of the Suburban Senior League to a championshipin 2007, 2008 and 2009.
