Bill Roemer, a 23 year resident of Richfield, is a candidate for an at large seat on Summit County Council. Bill has Bachelor of Science Degree from Case Western Reserve University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He also has a Master of Business Administration degree from the Weatherhead School of Management of Case Western Reserve University. 


A retired Ameritech (AT&T) Director of Sales, Bill has proven leadership abilities with the astute business acumen to lead Summit County. A Certified Public Accountant.  Bill is a former Instructor of Finance at Myers University. He is also a substitute teacher in the Revere School District and also tutors students after school. His family has owned a farm in Summit County for over 80 years and continues to protect the ecologically sensitive land.


His community service includes: Commissioner, and Umpire Director of Revere Baseball/Softball League, President of Camp Bradlo Club a Slovak fraternal organization and Past President of Richfield Baseball League. He also coached the Revere team of the Suburban Senior League to a championship for the last three years.  He serves on the executive committee of the Cuyahoga Valley Regional Council of Governments and the Akron General Member Advisory Committee.
